Terms & Conditions - Bluewave Plumbing Perth
All work undertaken by Bluewave Plumbing Perth is governed by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. It is the responsibility of the client to review and understand these terms prior to any work commencing.
Payment:
Payment must be made in full by the invoice due date unless a prior written agreement states otherwise.
Overdue accounts will incur interest at a rate of 5% per month until the outstanding balance is settled.
Any variations to the original quoted work may result in additional charges. Bluewave Plumbing Perth will make reasonable efforts to notify the client and obtain approval before proceeding with any variations.
After-hours and emergency rates apply outside standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm).
Ownership of Goods:
All materials and goods supplied remain the property of Bluewave Plumbing Perth until full payment has been received.
Cancellation Policy:
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a $100 cancellation fee.
If a tradesperson has already attended the property, a minimum charge equivalent to one hour of labour will apply if the job is cancelled or not ready.
Bluewave Plumbing Perth accepts no liability for any goods delivered, damaged, or lost as a result of a cancellation.
Warranty & Service Terms:
No warranty is provided on any materials, fixtures, fittings, or equipment supplied by the client. Responsibility for such items rests with the client and/or the manufacturer.
Workmanship carried out by Bluewave Plumbing Perth is warranted for six (6) years from the invoice date, in line with relevant Australian consumer laws and plumbing standards. This warranty applies only to work performed and materials supplied by Bluewave Plumbing Perth.
Any unauthorised alterations, repairs, or modifications by third parties will void this workmanship warranty.
Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts supplied and installed. Where a component fails within the manufacturer’s warranty period, a replacement part will be provided where covered. Labour costs for inspection, removal, and reinstallation will be chargeable unless the failure is directly attributed to faulty workmanship by Bluewave Plumbing Perth.
Clients must inspect completed work and notify Bluewave Plumbing Perth in writing of any defects, damages, or shortages within 48 hours of completion.
Upon notification, reasonable access must be granted within 7 working days to inspect the reported issue. If a valid workmanship fault is identified, Bluewave Plumbing Perth will be given the opportunity to rectify the issue within 14 working days, ensuring compliance with acceptable Australian plumbing standards.
If an inspection is carried out and no plumbing fault is found, a minimum one-hour service fee will apply to cover labour, travel, and diagnostic time.
No warranty is provided for blockages in drainage, sewer, or stormwater systems, as these are affected by external factors such as misuse, foreign objects, root intrusion, ground movement, or existing pipe condition.
Hot Water System Terms:
Quoted installation prices are based on a like-for-like replacement (same size and model type).
Pricing assumes the existing system complies with current plumbing and gas regulations.
Gas supply must meet the requirements of Australian Gas Standard AS/NZS 5601. Any additional work required to achieve compliance, such as pipe upgrades, will incur extra charges.
Additional components—including but not limited to non-return valves, line strainers, expansion valves, gas isolation valves, tempering valves, flue diverters, or recess boxes—are not included unless specified and will be charged separately.
Bluewave Plumbing Perth is not responsible for pre-existing faults within the property’s plumbing, gas, or electrical systems. Any necessary repairs or upgrades will be treated as a variation and charged accordingly.
Additional pipework beyond standard installation allowances will incur extra costs.
General:
Bluewave Plumbing Perth reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
